KenyanTrip
A team of young people from a Southampton school, Upper Shirley High School, will be taking an inspirational trip to Kenya later this year Oct 2011. They will be working with two self-funded Kenyan schools who educate and feed hundreds of children on a daily basis. This is not a "School Trip" this is something the young Southampton people will be working for. |
Many of the Kenyan children are still confined to
life on the street, refuse-tip scavenging or in under-age
employment. If they are not in school, many of them are on the tips. |

This will be quite a life-changing and rewarding experience for our Southampton group who will provide sports and educational coaching for the Kenyan children aged 4-12. They need your help. Can you donate outgrown but good condition football strip?
Could you fund a logo'd football strip for a team? |
We hope to help our young team with a small effort in providing sports equipment, games, toys and sports clothing. We don't want a truck full of old broken boxes of games. Just a small amount of good condition, fun, easy games for young Kenyan children aged 4-12yrs. |

We seek sponsorship, equipment, games, toys and clothing from businesses and well wishing supporters across Southampton. The support can be brand-new or good-quality-second-hand. Do you know a company who would sponsor a team strip? Send it all our way. It WILL go to a really good home. It all needs to fit into suitcases carried by young people so must be packable and portable. Anything unused will be donated to local charity. |
